Ok, now we have been open for nearly five years, I think…. no, I am convinced that we have the best team of florists in Widnes. This of course is just my humble opinion and opinions vary but here are my reasonings why….
When you pass our shop I would like to think, that apart from the sounds of footsteps scurrying across the floor to the flowerstand and back you can also hear the laughter… Be it laughing with each other or at each other or most of the time at ourselves, boy do we laugh. We all encourage a really positive attitude to work and do you know, it makes About Flowers a really fun place to be.
So why is this good for you… the consumer??
………….because happy staff are productive staff and when dealing with flowers there really has got to be a passion and love for the job… Be it a gift bouquet for someones birthday, a special anniversary, your wedding day, a first day at work… whatever the occasion, a moody, sour faced florist is not going to put her best into that design, that I can tell you for sure.
So, ok we laugh, we are happy, we put our passion and our love for flowers into your design…..what else?
We are qualified….
We have all spent years at college learning all the tricks of the trade. We have an underpinning knowledge of our product and how it is best to be designed. So, that not only does it look good when it arrives at your loved ones door but you will also get maximum vase life. You know, it is all well and good a bouquet looking nice… but ask yourself..
Has each flower been conditioned in the correct way ensuring maximum vase life?
Have we chosen a scheme of colour that suits your recipient?
Are you getting the right advice when choosing a sympathy design?
Can we suggest which blooms would last longer outside?
Which blooms are fitting for each design? we can tell you that as well…..
Can we tell you when they are available? Can we suggest an alternative?
Of course we can, we have studied for your occasion, we dont take it lightly..
Oh and of course we dont claim to know everything (just most things).
But what we dont know, we strive to learn and with the networks and resources we have built over the years, we can find you the answer to most floral related questions…
Anyway, we hope you realise now why I feel I have the best team in Widnes….. but dont take my word for it, come and meet us.
